Children and Young People

Children and Young People

Children and young people are an essential part of our church family.
We truly value the fact that we are an ‘all age’ church.
We have lots going on to involve children and young people of all ages.

The church has a strict safeguarding policy to provide a safe environment for children and young people to be in.

Junior Church

Junior Church meets most Sunday mornings during the 10:30am service. During this time we use discussion, music and activities to enable our young people to learn more about each other, explore the Bible and discover God’s power and love in the world and in the lives of God's people.

Messy Church

Messy Church currently takes place in the lower hall on the second Saturday of every month as a drop in between 10am and 12pm with plenty of cake, squash and hot drinks available.

Messy Church has at its heart messiness! Lots of crafts and activities – glueing, painting, baking, creating. Every session there are different activities to help explore a Bible story or theme.
Messy Church is not just for children, it’s an opportunity for parents, carers or grandparents to come along with their children and enjoy each other’s company. Messy Church is run for the community, and attracts many families from Sherwood and Carrington.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
